• Nearly 2 million active Twitter accounts,

• Nearly 400,000 active Google+ accounts.

Instagram and Pinterest are both growing very fast. (Instagram was recently bought out by Facebook).  This is a sign that visitors are consuming more visual content – photos and images, rather than plain text.
